Our Stock Journey

Join the Freedom Finance team as we pick four stocks to buy and follow over the next several months! We will follow each stock’s journey, and post an update on these four stocks every Friday. While we are not making these financial investments directly, we are looking at four different stocks that interest us, or stocks that we are curious to see how they would perform in the long-run.

Here is a breakdown of each stock.

Bradley Valentin – Tesla, Inc. (TSLA). Price at time of Purchase $262.33 = 3.81 shares.
Stock Beta: 2.31
Random Facts: Introduced as a public traded company on June 29, 2010 at $17/share. The stock had a five-for-one split on August 31, 2020, and then a three-for-one split on August 25, 2022.

Dylan Fox – GameStop (GME). Price at time of purchase $24.34 = 41.08 shares.
Stock Beta: -.06
Random Facts: Introduced as a public traded company on February 12, 2002 at $18/share. The stock became famous in January 2021 after many planned to short the stock and thousandsd from Reddits /wallstreetbets got together to buy the stock, the price quickly skyrocketed over $200. Today, it is an extremely volitale meme stock that still pops up when some look to rally over the stock to increase its price.

Karrie Valentin – CPI Card Group Inc. (PMTS). Price at time of purchase $27.46 = 36.42 shares.
Stock Beta: 1.14
Random Facts: CPI Card Group is a card procecssing company that sells physical cards to financial instutions. With the decrease in use of physical cards in today’s world, CPI looks to use a digital format to innovate and keep the company alive and well.

Nick Arrington – ProShares S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats ETF. (NOBL). Price at time of purchase $95.69 = 10.45 shares
Beta: .86
Random Facts: NOBL is an exchange traded fund (ETF) that invests in 40+ stocks from the S&P 500. Since its inception on October 9, 2013, it has increased in value 136.91% from $40 to over $95.
